Roy R. Moeller, D.P.M.

Dr. Moeller has been practicing podiatry since 1986 when he completed his surgical residency at the Windom Area Hospital in Windom, Minnesota. He graduated for the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois after obtaining his master's degree at Michigan State University. Dr. Moeller is a Board Certified foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

One of Dr. Moeller's specialties is bunion surgery. Over the years he has perfected his technique so most bunionectomies can be performed with the patient fully weight bearing on the surgerized foot postoperatively. He has been using screw fixation for a number of years. This not only allows for more stability and compression of the cut bone but the foot can be bathed about a week after surgery. Recently, Dr. Moeller has been experimenting with biodegradable screws in order to eliminate screw complications. A bunionectomy does not have to be a painful procedure. Many of Dr. Moeller's bunionectomy patients have little or no pain afterwards with proper postoperative care.

Dr. Moeller grew up in Michigan and will root for his alma mater at any college games. He resides in the Twin Cities with his wife and their dog. They have two grown children and two fur grandpups. Dr. Moeller is very active in his community, looks forward to taking his annual diving trip every year, and loves spending time with his family.
